Meet the Author

Renae Johnson writes heartfelt stories that help children feel seen, safe, and celebrated for who they are. Inspired by her experiences as a mother, grandmother, and advocate for emotional wellness, she creates stories that gently guide children through big feelings while reinforcing confidence and belonging.

Renae is passionate about using storytelling as a tool for emotional growth and connection within families and classrooms. She is the creator of the Creature Peepers series, which combines whimsical woodland storytelling with social-emotional learning themes.

She lives in Michigan with her family and continues to develop stories centered on resilience, kindness, and emotional understanding.
